Sedanini Pasta di Gragnano IGP is an authentic Italian pasta produced by Pastai Gragnanesi using 100% organic Italian durum wheat semolina and water. The name Sedanini means “little celery,” referring to its short, slightly curved shape with external ridges, designed to hold sauces exceptionally well.

This pasta is an evolution of a traditional Neapolitan smooth pasta once known as “elephant teeth”, refined into a ridged format that enhances texture and flavor absorption. It is ideal for tomato sauces, creamy sauces, vegetable-based recipes, and baked pasta dishes.

Produced in Gragnano, the historic capital of Italian pasta, this product benefits from unique microclimatic conditions, centuries-old expertise, and water sourced from the slopes of Mount Faito. The pasta is bronze-die extruded, giving it a rough surface, and slowly dried at low temperatures to preserve flavor, structure, and nutritional integrity.

Only high-protein durum wheat semolina (approx. 14.5% protein) is selected, and every stage of production is carefully monitored to ensure excellent cooking performance, firmness, and bite resistance. The long, slow drying process allows natural fermentation to develop subtle aromatic notes, resulting in pasta with the taste and texture of traditional hand-made methods.
