Sciara Caserecce Pistachio Pasta - 17.6oz (500g)

Sciara Caserecce Pistachio Pasta is a specialty handmade  bronze drawn Pasta enriched by the taste of Pistachio. This slow drying pasta is made of only two simple ingredients: Sicilian durum wheat semolina and Sicilian pistachios. 

Bring a touch of fantasy and Sicilian tradition to your table and prepare a really irresistible and colored first course with Sciara Caserecce al Pistacchio. 

How to cook

Cook Caserecce Pistachio Pasta in salted boiling water for 7 minutes. Drain it al dente and pairs it with Sciara Pistachio Pesto. 

Recipe

Ingredients (for 4 people):
- Caserecce al Pistacchio 500 g
- 1 jar of Pistachio Pesto 190g
- onion 1⁄2
- cooked ham or bacon 100 g
- cooking cream 250 ml - milk to taste.

- butter 1 walnut
- brandy to - chopped Pistachio to garnish

Preparation method:
Melt the butter in a saucepan and brown the chopped onion. Add the diced ham and the Pistachio Pesto.
Mix together, flame with the brandy and add the cream diluted with milk. Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water and drain it al dente.
Saute the Caserecce al Pistacchio in a saucepan with the sauce, pepper and serve sprinkled with chopped Pistachio.
Variation: add a teaspoon of curry to the sauce to give the dish an exotic touch.
