Polenta with Porcini Mushrooms KitĀ comes with everything you need to make a delicious Italian gourmet meal ready in 20 minutes.Ā Ā 

The kit includes:

- 1 Instant Polenta Molina RivaĀ 2.2lb

- 1/2 lb Fresh Porcini Mushrooms

- 2oz Dried Porcini MushroomsĀ 

- 2.2 lb Parmigiano Reggiano

- 1Ā Ferrarini ButterĀ 8.8oz

Preparation Method

Steep the dried porcini mushrooms in warm water for 30 minutes.Ā Remove, rinse and squeeze dry. Cut to desired sizes. Put the butter in a hot frying pan, add garlic and onions and cook until they pale golden. Add the mushrooms and cook them over low to medium heat, tossing regularly. If the mushrooms begin to dry out, sprinkle them with white wine or broth. Season with salt and pepper.

In the meantime, in a large saucepan bring salted water to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the polenta, whisking constantly to make sure there are no lumps. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, until thickened and cooked through. Remove from heat and stir in the grated parmigiano and the butter. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately. Top with roasted porcini mushrooms and enjoy!
